PLAMERE PLASMA PEN TREATMENT
Bespoke Facial & Body Clinic is excited to be one of the first clinics in Adelaide to introduce Plamere Plasma Pen. Plasma Pen Treatments are now an increasingly popular non-surgical treatment for facial and skin rejuvenation.
Plasma treatments do not require any cutting of the skin and are much quicker than surgery as no general anaesthesia is required. Treatments can take between 20-30 minutes and there is minimal downtime, however, there can be small formations of scabs and slight swelling. With visible results after one treatment and a gradual improvement over a couple of weeks post-treatment, it is no wonder why plasma treatments are highly sought-after!
Treatments produce fantastic anti-wrinkle results on areas including;
Eyelid Tightening, including upper and lower eyelids
Lines and Wrinkles around the mouth and eyes
Brow Lift and Forehead Lines
Neck and Jaw Line
Lip and Brow Lifting
Tightening Loose Abdomens & Diminishing Stretchmarks
Removing Skin Tags and Pigmentation
HOW DOES PLASMA PEN WORK?
Small micro wounds are made in the treated area with a plasma flash, (called an arc) Issued from a hand-held pen shaped device. Stimulated skin cells produce collagen up to 400 times the normal production. The flash causes tiny, brown carbon spots or crusts that look like freckles. These tiny crusts fall off in a few days. Skin tightening results can be seen in one to two weeks and will continue to improve over the next three months.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
You will see the benefits of the treatment in as little as one week. New collagen will continue to form over the next three months. Benefits will last typically around 2-4 years. The natural ageing process of breaking down the collagen will then take place. There are many factors that contribute to collagen breakdown including lifestyle and age. This is a single treatment, but depending on the skin laxity, more than one treatment may be required.
IS PLASMA PEN TREATMENT SAFE?
Yes most definitely. The Plamere Plasma Pen is state of the art technology and of the highest quality. We ensure all our equipment meets all safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
Our qualified dermal therapists are highly trained and have performed many plasma treatments. Our plasma pen utilises a low frequency delivery of the plasma arc. This enables the treatment imprint to be wider and shallower. This technique produces a greater tightening effect, better results, a quicker healing process and less down time to the client.
The plasma pen can be used on most skin types, however a comprehensive consultation is required prior to treatment. This treatment is unsuitable for patients with metal implants, severe circulatory or cardiovascular conditions, autoimmune disorders and pregnancy.
