Melanopro Peel
High-performance depigmentation treatment targeting dark spots and uneven tone for supporting a clearer, more uniform complexion.
Melanopro Peel is a 2-phase system. The first phase is done by a skin care professional in clinic, where the Intensive Peeling Masque is applied within a duration of 45 minutes. The masque remains on for a period of time and is removed at home.
The second phase is continued at home with prescribed products, including the Continuous Resurfacing Cream and Ultracalming Mist. Results will be seen in under 6 weeks.
This transformative 2-phase regime works to visibly counteract environmental skin damage, fading dark spots, reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and smoothing skin's texture to reveal fresh, brighter skin.
Before your treatment

Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 14 days prior to your appointment

No waxing, depilatory creams at least 14 days prior to your appointment

Avoid laser and skin treatments at least 14 days prior

Avoid exfoliators, acids, and any retinol or vitamin A-based products. at least 7 days prior

Avoid Cosmetic Aesthetic treatments min 2-4 weeks prior

As an advanced peeling program with active ingredients, it is not advised to be undertaken if your skin is not used to hydroxy acids and retinol. Your skin therapist may suggest homecare products or treatments to prepare your skin for the best results
After your treatment

Aftercare: Avoid direct heat or very hot showers within the first 1-2 days post treatment

You may apply make-up once any redness from the application of the Melanopro Peel System has stopped

Avoid strenuous exercise or any heat-based activities such as saunas, spas or steam rooms for 5 days post treatment

Day 1: Once masque has been removed, do not apply any product to the skin (serum, moisturiser etc) except for Dermalogica UltraCalming Mist. Use the mist as often as needed to soothe skin (if skin feels tight or hot)

Day 2: On the day after masque application, do not apply any product to the skin (serum, moisturiser etc). except for Dermalogica UltraCalming Mist. Use the mist as often as needed

Day 3: On the second day after the masque application, apply a pea size amount of the Continuous Resurfacing Cream twice a day (AM and PM) continue to use twice per day for the next two to three days. Avoid eye area

After starting the Continuous Resurfacing Cream, the skin may feel stimulated upon application for the first few days. This feeling should dissipate within 15-20 minutes. If the stimulation is felt longer, please contact the clinic and we can advise you on how to proceed

If skin feels sensitive, spray Dermalogica UltraCalming Mist to soothe skin. Use as often as needed

Day 5-6 onwards: Apply Continuous Resurfacing Cream up to three times per day for up to six weeks, or until the tube is used

Do not pick at or peel off any flakey or peeling skin. Allow this to naturally slough off

Avoid sun exposure during the 6-week home care program

Apply an SPF 50+ sunscreen, daily after the application of the Continuous Resurfacing Cream

You may use a gentle cleanser to cleanse the face

Do not use products with AHAs, BHAs, enzymes, exfoliants or Retinol during the 6-week treatment period

During the 6-weeks of the program, do not have any other treatments on the area treated. You may commence LED treatments from week 1
